Turkey won the lawsuit with a claim of $7 billion in compensation for the damages allegedly incurred by the  UK-based Ipek Investment Ltd. company owned by FETO-linked Akın Ipek. Akın Ipek has been living as a fugitive in the UK since 30 August 2015 and continues his business in that country. In 2018, Akın Ipek filed a lawsuit in a Washington-based arbitration court regarding the seizure of Ipek Koza assets. The 4-year-long lawsuit was finalised today. The Republic of Turkey won the international lawsuit filed by FETO. The proceedings in question were known as the biggest lawsuit filed by FETO in an international court as a claim for the compensation of damages against the state regarding the seizures. Mustafa Dogan Inal, who acted as the legal counsel of the Republic of Turkey, said on his Twitter account, "We won the lawsuit filed by FETO's Akın Ipek (Ipek Investment) against the Republic of Turkey at ICSID! Our joy is great as LEXIST Law Office, the legal counsel of the Republic of Turkey. I congratulate everyone who contributed.”
