A businessman from Hatay who achieved success in the business world in a metropolitan city like Istanbul, Ibrahim Edhem Sunar brought the name of Hatay into prominence with his financial and moral contributions to Hatayspor.

Now all the countries around the world are working with all theirpower to make a name for their country over sports. Football is very important for the promotion of Anatolia. He further commented, "As Hatayspor, we worked with all our strength to be promoted to the Super League in 2018-2019. Hatayspor hanged tough and had an incredible performance. The whole city came together in our last game. Our players played great until the penalties. We wish that we had won the game and promoted to the super league, but it didn't happen. Our players did the best they could. I want to thank them once again. Football is open to all kinds of surprises, but we will do our best to show the same performance next season and try to get Hatayspor to the Super League."
