Who Is M. Kerem Kurtuluş?


M. Kerem Kurtuluş, born on January 3, 1990, in Istanbul, is a Turkish film producer and director. He is also the founder of Pardy Group. Kurtuluş graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Communication and began his career as an assistant in the field of photography production. Having been interested in photography since childhood, Kurtuluş gravitated towards literature and the arts during his university years and hosted a program on the school radio. He gained industry experience by assisting photographer Cem Talu.


Career

In 2015, Kurtuluş founded his first production company, Netch Media, entering the media industry. Over time, he expanded in the sector and established a talent management and career consultancy company in 2020. Additionally, he co-founded Red Grain Studio with photographer Kubilay Karslı, broadening his work in photography and video production. In 2022, he also ventured into entrepreneurship by founding the jewelry brand Pardy Jewelry.


In the same year, he established Pardy Production, focusing on film and documentary production. Kurtuluş has been involved in the production of hundreds of commercials, award-winning short films, and documentaries, bringing all his ventures together under the Pardy Group brand.

Kurtuluş’s filmography includes short films and documentaries such as Uykusuz Rüya (2015), Ateş Sönerken (2017), 8. Kare (2017), Zamansız Eşyalar (2017), XY (2021), 06.02 Umut (2022), and Bomba (2024). He is also working on feature-length films such as Ben Hayatımda Hiç and Aksak Ritim.


Social Responsibility and Memberships

Kurtuluş is actively involved in various non-governmental organizations and associations. He has held roles such as Vice President of Young MÜSİAD, is a member of the Short Film Directors Association, and a member of GSYİAD. He has also served on the Executive Board of TOBB Istanbul GGK and is the Director of the MAFF Film Festival.
