Turkish Company Met-Gun Group Accelerates Solar Energy Investments in Spain

Met-Gün Group, a leading Turkish enterprise, is making significant strides in Spain through its subsidiary, Luminous Renewable Energy, by establishing a major collaboration. Partnering with ISE Energy from the Spanish Gransolar Group, they have entered into an EPC agreement for two important photovoltaic projects. Located in Soria and Zaragoza, these projects aim to generate a combined capacity of 23 MWp, enhancing renewable energy consumption and solidifying Met-Gün’s international presence.

The Zaragoza initiative is crafted to accommodate an 11.32 MWp capacity driven by 16,408 bifacial modules, each capable of delivering 690 Wp. These modules, provided by PVHardware part of Gransolar Group are integrated with single-axis solar tracking systems. This setup is anticipated to produce over 21,000 MWh annually, greatly improving energy efficiency.
